WHAT WE DO
WE BRING HEALTH AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT TO THE MOST VULNERABLE
Volunteers for Honduran Communities is a non-profit NGO based in Northern Virginia, which has served Honduras' most vulnerable communities since 1999. Our Rural Community Development mobilizes communities to improve healthcare, clean water, nutrition, educational and other opportunities in rural mountain communities. And our international medical collaboration mobilizes Honduran and American volunteers to provide no cost surgeries, eye care, and rehabilitation for persons with disabilities, while training and equipping Honduran health care providers.
